Itinerary :
Day 01 Home - - Kunming
Transfer via: TBA, on your own arrangement.
Arrive at Kunming . Be met & transferred to your
hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 02 Kunming (B/L)
One day tour to visit
Stone Forest which is
located 90km south of Kunming , Due to a process of
weathering and erosion, nature has created an art
gallery of stone sculpture here. Then visit Sani
village in route where return to
City.
Day 03 Kunming - - Dali (B/L)
One day tour to visit West Hill
Dragon Gate and the Golden Temple
which was cast from 250 tons of solid bronze
and Grand View Tower as well as the
Nationality Village contents a
commemorative square built which will symbolize the
unity between the ethnic groups, a theatre for the
performance of ethnic songs and dances, a folklore
museum . Be transferred to the airport and fly to
Dali
Day 04 Dali (B/L)
One day tours to Three Pagodas
which are an emblem of the city's long and
celebrated history. The tallest of the trio, which is
69.13 meters tall, was built in 836 AD while the two
smaller ones were built during a later period . Then
visit the Butterfly Spring where
thousands of butterflies flutter among the branches and
over the spring water forming a dazzling " Kingdom of
Butterflies ". Cruise on Er Hai Lake
and visit housing architecture of the Bai
ethnic minority tribe in the old
town.
Day 05 Dali -bus-Lijiang (B/L)
Drive from Dali to Lijiang to visit
Lijiang old town. The town was built in
the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty and was
listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major
cultural heritages in 1997.
Day 06 Lijiang (B/L)
Full day tour to the Jade Dragon
Snow Mountain , which is 18000 feet above sea
level. It is a treasure of wild plants and rare animals.
Afterwards visit the Black Dragon Pond Park
and Dong Ba Culture Museum
where was considered as sanctuary of the
culture of Naxi ancient culture
Day 07
Lijiang-bus-Shangri-la (B/L) Be transferred
from Lijiang to Shangri-la to visit the First
Bend of Yangtze River en route: First flowing
south, then north, the river has shaped a dramatic
triangle at an area of about 50 square kilometers.
Tiger Leaping Gorge : one of the
world's four great gorges - is located in Hutiaoxia Town
in Zhongdian County , which is honored as one of the
deepest and most marvelous gorges on the globe. Arrive
at Shangri-la - The area the beautiful "Shangri-la"
describes in The Lost Horizon in James Hiltom's
novel.
Day 08 Shangri-la (B/L)
Visit The Songzanlin Lamasery
- the most important Lamasery of Tibetan
Buddhism in Yunnan province and Bita Lake
, where it lies in the heart of the nature
preserve surrounded by mountains covered with ancient
pines, oaks and rhododendron. After that visit a
Tibetan familily . You will see the
real lift of Tibetan and you may be welcomed by the
Tibetan Tea, snacks.
Day 09
Shangri-la-kunming-Shanghai (B) Be
transferred to the airport. Take a flight to Kunming and
take a connecting flight to Shanghai . Once you arrive
at Shanghai , you'll be met & transferred to the
hotel with your private guide & vehicle. Free at
leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 10 Shanghai (B/L)
Visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple
with a 2m high sitting white Jade Buddha and
the 400-year old Yu Yuan Garden, decorated with
masterpieces of Ming architecture, as well as the
Old Town & the Bund
. You also have a chance to visit the
Shanghai Museum and
the famous Nanjing Road among
crowds.
Day 11 Shanghai-Hangzhou (B/L)
Drive to Hangzhou ( 220KM
), visit the West Lake
which is the symbol of Hangzhou city as well as
one of the most beautiful sights in China .
Lingyin Temple which it contains a
sitting statue of Sakyamuni (19.6 metres in height,
including the carved aureola board at the back and the
lotus seat) which is the biggest such sculpture of wood
still extant in China.and then China Tea Museum
which located beside the West Lake, home of the
Longjing brand tea, it is the only state-level
comprehensive tea museum in China. It has six halls
respectively featuring tea history, tea samples, tea
production process, tea sets and tea customs.
Day 12 Hangzhou-Nanjing (B/L)
Drive from Hangzhou to
Nanjing , visit Dr. Sun Yixian (Sun Yat-sen)
Mausoleum and Yangtze River Bridge
which was built in 1968, is the first bridge
over the Yangtze River designed by Chinese architect.
The Bridge overcomes the Yangtze River barrier and
carries four traffic lanes with land and rail traffic.
Nanjing City Wall , the longest ancient
city wall in the world. It is 0.7 kilometers longer than
Beijing 's city wall and 1.7 kilometers longer than the
wall in Paris . The Zhonghua Gate ,
Confucius Temple ,
where is for consecrating and worshipping Confucius, the
great thingker and educator of ancient China Qinhuai
river, adjacent shopping center. Take a walk in the free
market.
Day 13
Nanjing -
- Beijing
(B) Be
transferred to the airport. Take a flight to Beijing .
Upon your arrive at Beijing , you'll be met &
transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest
of the day. Day 14 Beijing (B/L)
Full day city tours including a visit to
the Tian'anmen Square - the biggest
public square in the world. Located at the north of
Tiananmen Square is the Forbidden City
, named Gu Gong in Chinese, used to be the
imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties, now
known as the Palace Museum . After lunch visit the
Temple of Heaven , the
place for the emperors to worship the God (heaven) for
good harvest in the past. Day 15 Beijing
(B/L) A memorable daylong excursion
combines a visit to the soul-stirring Great Wall
, winding dragon-like across northern China .
Drive along the Sacred Way , guarded by sculpted stone
animal both real and fabulous, which are a
photographer's delight, after that visit the
Ming Tomb. Day 16
Beijing - - Home (B)
Free at leisure until to be transferred to
