Day 01 Home – Chengdu
Arrive in
Chengdu. You will be greeted at the airport by
your tour guide and transferred to hotel.
Day 02 Chengdu –Leshan – Ermei
(B/L)
Drive from Chengdu to Leshan, visit
famous Leshan Great Buddha, which was the largest
stone sculpture of Buddha in the world, the Buddha
measures 71 meters in height. His shoulders are 28
meters across. The head is 14.7 metes long and 10
meters broad with total 1021 buns of hair on it,
it was added to the World Natural and Cultural
Heritage List. And then continue drive to Ermei
Mountain which is known for its height its
cliffness and the buddhism temples.
Day 03
Ermei -Chengdu (B/L)
The Four Wonders of
Mt.Emei are the Golden Summit Sunrise, sea of
clouds, Buddha's Halo and the Holy Lamp. Half a
day tour to see monkies and the Myriad Years
Monastery in the Mt.Emei. In 1996, Mt. Emei and
the Grand Buddha in Leshan were included in the
List of the World Famous Cultural Relics. Transfer
to Chengdu.
Day 04 Chengdu (B/L)
One
day tour to visit Dufu Thatched Cottage which is a
cottage restored in Ming Dynasty, is a memorial
for a great Tang Dynasty poet, Du Fu. After that
visit Wuhou Temple, it was built by Li Xiong in
the Western Jin Dynasty (about 1,100 years ago) in
memory of Zhuge Liang, prime minister of Shu
Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms
Period(220-80AD). Panda Research Centre and
Wangjiang Park.
