* Summary : This tour is designed for those who are eager to experience an absolute exotic journey combing with two most characteristic areas of China- Silk Road and Tibet which are so similar in some ways yet distinctively different in many others. Take in the must-see destinations of Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, Gaochang Ancient City in Turpan and Kah Emin Mosque in Kashgar. This adventure also soaks up the scenery of Tibet where it is a truly special place and the local life of Zang Minority. Furthermore, you may see two or more forms of Buddhism flaming in their own style in Tibet and every one of them will just convulse you with deep thought of life.

Daily Itinerary :

Day 01 Home - - Beijing
Transfer via: TBA, on your own arrangement.
Arrive in Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 02 Beijing (B/L)
Full day city tour includes visits of the Tian'anmen Square - the biggest public square in the world and Forbidden City(GuGong in Chinese) which is used to be the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, now known as the Palace Museum. After lunch visit the Temple of Heaven, the place for the emperors to worship the God (heaven) for good harvest in ancient China.

Day 03 Beijing (B/L)
A memorable daylong excursion combines the soul-stirring Great Wall that across northern China like a winding dragon with the Sacred Way, guarded by sculpted stone animal both real and fabulous, which are photographers’ delight. Finally, visit the Ming Tomb.

Day 04 Beijing - - Dunhuang (B/L)
Take a morning flight to Dunhuang. Arrive in Dunhuang, the most important trade hub between China and central Asia in Han and Tan Dynasties. Be met & transferred to hotel. Visit Mingsha Sand Dunes and take a camel ride to the Crescent Moon Lake. You can experience a bustling bazaar at night.

Day 05 Dunhuang - train - Turpan (B/L)
Take an excursion to the Mogao Grottoes, the world's richest treasure trove of Buddhist manuscripts and art. Begun in 386 AD and added to over the next 9 centuries, the grottoes are totally over 45,000 square meters and boast over 2,000 murals and sculptures. Take an overnight soft-sleep train to Turpan.

Day 06 Turpan (B/L)
Arrive in Turpan in the morning. Be met & transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a sightseeing of the amazing 2,000 year old Karez System of Irrigration which brought water from melting snow on the mountains to this parched city, and the ruins of Jiaohe City, where plenty of large fragments of actual streets and buildings remain.

Day 07 Turpan (B/L)
Visit the ruins of Gaochang Ancient City, the ancient walled capital of the Uighurs which flourished between the 7th century and 14th century, the Grape Valley and the Flame Mountain, named for their vibrant color.

Day 08 Turpan - bus - Urumqi (B/L)
Drive to Urumqi by bus. Arrive in Urumqi, the furthest city in the world from the Ocean. Be met & transferred to hotel. Populated by Han people and thirteen ethnic minorities, Urumqi is quite different from the usual Chinese street scene. Moreover you can see Nomadic Khazakhs, a Middle Eastern bazaar, a jade-carving center and more.

Day 09 Urumqi - - Kashgar (B/L)
Take a morning flight to Kashgar, a commercial center connecting China and the outside world for 2000 years. Arrive in Kashgar. Be met & transferred to the hotel with your private guide & vehicle.

Day 10 Kashgar Urumqi (B/L)
After breakfast, head directly to the Great Bazaar, alive with storybook scenes: thousands of merchants haggling for camels, carpets and other native goods; imams on donkeys and veiled women in their black robes. After wandering the Great Bazaar,you will visit the Idigar Mosque, one of the largest mosques in China, and the Abakh Khoja Tomb. Take an evening flight to Urumqi. Arrive in Urumqi. Be met & transferred to the hotel with your private guide & vehicle.

Day 11 Urumqi (B/L)
After breakfast you will have an excursion to South Mountain (Nanshan) Pasture where you could visit a local Kazakhs’s Family in yurt. In the afternoon visit the Xinjiang Autonomous Region Museum which contains some interesting exhibitions relating to local minority groups.

Day 12 Urumqi - - Chengdu (B/L)
Take a morning flight to Chengdu. Arrive in Chengdu. Be met & transferred to hotel. First we will drive to visit the Panda Breeding & Reserve Centre to see Panda who were born in nature. Continue your driving to Sanxingdui, a historical discovery of the ruined city 4000 years ago. Drive back to Chengdu.

Day 13 Chengdu - - Lhasa (B/L)
Take a morning flight to Lhasa. Arrive in Lhasa, a city meaning the "Holy Land" in Tibetan language. Be met & transferred to hotel. Acclimatize yourself to the high altitude. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 14 Lhasa (B/L)
In the morning, visit the Potala Palace, Lhasa's cardinal landmark combined originality with harmony. After lunch, find out the Jokhang Temple built in 7th century by Songtsan Gambo , the Tang Princess Wen Cheng and Nepalese Princess Bhrikuti. It is the spiritual center of Tibet, the Holy of Holies and the destination of millions of Tibetan pilgrims. Then take a stroll in Barkhor Street. It is a quadrangle streets surrounds the Jokhang and a place where Tibetan culture, commerce, religion and arts assemble.

Day 15 Lhasa - - Beijing (B/L)
Take flight to Beijing. Arrive in Beijing. You will be greeted at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of day.

Day 16 Beijing- - Home (B)
Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
