* Summary : Another fabulous tour perfectly put together for those who yearn to see more of China. Urumqi, the capital of Xijiang Autonomous Region, is world renowned for its South Mountain (Nanshan) Pasture where you can visit a family in their yurt for a taste of traditional hospitality. Then you will not miss the Turpan where Marco Polo firstly encountered spaghetti, an idea he took home to Italy and Dunhuang that is famous for its Mogao Grottes, popularly known as the “Thousand Buddha Caves”. Of course, the highlight of the tour is our 4 days Yangtze Cruise from which you will enjoy a truly relaxing time on the ship.

Daily Itinerary:

Day 01 Home- - Beijing
Transfer via: TBA, on your own arrangement.
Arrive in Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 02 Beijing (B/L)
A memorable daylong excursion combines the soul-stirring Great Wall that across northern China like a winding dragon with the Sacred Way, guarded by sculpted stone animal both real and fabulous, which are photographers’ delight. Finally, visit the Ming Tomb.

Day 03 Beijing- - Urumqi (B/L)
Today, we will visit the Summer Palace, a breathtaking arrangement of lake and landscape, pagodas and pavilions. In the afternoon take a flight to Urumqi. Arrive in Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, the furthest city in the world from the Ocean. Be met & transferred to hotel.

Day 04 Urumqi (B/L)
After breakfast you will have an excursion to South Mountain(Nanshan) Pasture where you could visit a local Kazakhs's Family in yurt. In the afternoon visit the Xinjiang Autonomous Region Museum which contains some interesting exhibitions relating to local minority groups.

Day 05 Urumqi- bus -Turpan (B/L)
Drive to Turpan(200km). In the afternoon, visit the ruins of Ancient City of Jiaohe, local museum and Karez Well - an underground irrigation system in Turpan.

Day 06 Turpan- train -Dunhuang (B/L)
Visit the ruins of Gaochang Ancient City, Thousand-Buddha Cave, Grape Valley and Flame Mountain. Take a soft-sleeper ovenight train to Dunhuang .

Day 07 Dunhuang (B/L)
Arrive to Dunhuang in the morning, once the most important trade hub between China and central Asia in Han and Tang Dynasties. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Then visit Mingsha Sand Dunes and take a camel ride to the Crescent Moon Lake.You can experience a bustling bazaar at night.

Day 08 Dunhuang (B/L)
Full day visit to the Mogao Grottoes, the best preserved example of Buddhist caves art in China.

Day 09 Dunhuang- -Xi'an (B/L)
Take a morning flight to Xi'an. Arrive in Xi'an. Be met & transferred to hotel. You will have a half day of visit the Ancient City Wall, the Provincial Museum and the Bell Tower.

Day 10 Xi'an- - Chongqing (B/L)
You will have the whole day visit to the famous historical site of the Qin Terracotta Warriors. More than 6000 life -sized terracotta figures of soldiers and horses in perfect battle array show the superb sculptural art of that time. Afterwards, visit the Wild Goose Pagoda. Take an evering flight to Chongqing. Board your ship and begin your Yangtze trip.

Day 13 Yichang- - Shanghai (B/L)

Arrive in Yichang in the morning and transferred to the airport for taking a flight to Shanghai.

Day 14 Shanghai (B/L)
Visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple with a 2m high sitting white Jade Buddha and the 400-year old Yu Yuan Garden, decorated with masterpieces of Ming architecture, as well as the Old Town & the Bund. You also have a chance to visit the famous Nanjing Road among crowds.

Day 15 Shanghai (B/L)
Visit the Shanghai Museum and have a wonderful bird's-eye view of Shanghai city when you get to the summit of the Oriental Pearl TV tower.

Day 16 Shanghai - -Home (B)
Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
