Daily Itinerary :
Day 01 Home - - Lhasa
Transfer via: TBA, on your own arrangement.
Arrive in Lhasa. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Acclimatize yourself to the high altitude at the rest of the day.On the way from Gongar Airport to the downtown Lhasa, you will have a chance to enjoy the unique plateau scenery.
Day 02 Lhasa (B/L)
In the morning, visit the Potala Palace, Lhasa's cardinal landmark combined originality with harmony. After lunch, find out the Jokhang Temple built in 7th century by Songtsan Gambo , the Tang Princess Wen Cheng and Nepalese Princess Bhrikuti. It is the spiritual center of Tibet, the Holy of Holies and the destination of millions of Tibetan pilgrims. Then take a stroll in Barkhor Street. It is a quadrangle streets surrounds the Jokhang and a place where Tibetan culture, commerce, religion and arts assemble.
Day 03 Lhasa (B/L)
Take a morning tour to Drepung Monastery, 5 km from downtown Lhasa, the biggest Buddihism temple in the world. In the afternoon, go to Tibet Museum to explore the rich collection of Tibet cultural relics, then the Norbulingka which means Jewel Park, was Dalai Lama's summer palace since 7th century. Then the Sera Monastery, one of the three great monasteries in Lhasa and one of the six great monasteries of the Gelug Sect of Buddihism in Tibet.
Day 04 Lhasa - bus - Nagqu - bus - Lhasa (B/L)
In the morning, we head for Lake Nam Co, the highest lake in the world with 4,718 meters above the sea level. As one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, it is the destination of pilgrims from faraway once in the Tibetan year of sheep. It takes 10 days to circle around it. The magnificent scenery of North Tibet Grassland definitly can not be missed. Drive back to Lhasa, via famous Yangpachen, a site with rich geothermal resources for hotspring and geothermal power station.
Day 05 Lhasa - - Home (B)
Transferred to the airport for your flight home.
