Day 01 Home - - Beijing
Transfer via: TBA, on your own arrangement.
Arrive in Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 02 Beijing (B/L)
Full day city tour includes visits of theTian'anmen Square - the biggest public square in the world and Forbidden City(GuGong in Chinese) which is used to be the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, now known as thePalace Museum. After lunch visit theTemple of Heaven, the place for the emperors to worship the God (heaven) for good harvest in ancient China.
Day 03 Beijing (B/L)
A memorable daylong excursion combines the soul-stirring Great Wall that across northern China like a winding dragonwith the Sacred Way, guarded by sculpted stone animal both real and fabulous, which are photographers’ delight. Finally, visit the Ming Tomb.
Day 04 Beijing - - Lhasa (B/L)
Transfer to the airport, take a morning flight to Lhasa. Arrive in Lhasa, a city meaning the "Holy Land" in Tibetan language. Be met & transferred to hotel. Acclimatize yourself to the high altitude at the rest of the day.
Day 05 Lhasa (B/L)
In the morning, visit the Potala Palace, Lhasa's cardinal landmark combined originality with harmony. After lunch, find out the Jokhang Temple built in 7th century by Songtsan Gambo, the Tang Princess Wen Cheng and Nepalese Princess Bhrikuti. It is the spiritual center of Tibet, the Holy of Holies and the destination of millions of Tibetan pilgrims. Then take a stroll in Barkhor Street. It is a quadrangle streets surrounds the Jokhang and a place where Tibetan culture, commerce, religion and arts assemble.
Day 06 Lhasa (B/L)
Take a morning tour to Drepung Monastery, 5 km from downtown Lhasa, the biggest Buddihism temple in the world. In the afternoon, go to Tibet Museum to explore the rich collection of Tibet cultural relics, then the Norbulingka which means Jewel Park, was Dalai Lama's summer palace since 7th century.
Day 07 Lhasa - - Chengdu (B/L)
Take a morning flights to Chengdu . Arrive in Chengdu. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 08 Chengdu (B/L)
One day tour to visit Dufu Thatched Cottage, a cottage restored in Ming Dynasty, is a memorial for a great Tang Dynasty poet, Du Fu. Then we will visit Wuhou Temple that was built by Li Xiong in the Western Jin Dynasty (about 1,100 years ago) in memory of Zhuge Liang, a prime minister of Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms Period(220-80AD). Afterwards visit the Panda Research Centre and Wangjiang Park.
Day 09 Chengdu - - Shanghai (B/L)
visit Dujiang Yan Dam, which was built 2,000 years ago. It has been used to irrigate the western Sichuan plain as well as avoiding floods. This area is the most fertile land in China thanks greatly to this water system. After that visit Sanxingdui ruins which recognized as one of the most important ancient remains in the world for its vast size, long history and enriched cultural contents. Take a flight to shanghai. Arrive in Shanghai.. Be met & transferred to your hotel.
Day 10 Shanghai (B/L)
Visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple with a 2m high sitting white Jade Buddha and the 400-year old Yu Yuan Garden, decorated with masterpieces of Ming architecture, as well as the Old Town & the Bund. You also have a chance to visit the Shanghai Museum and the famous Nanjing Road among crowds.
Day 11 Shanghai - - Home (B)
Transferred to the airport for your flight home.
