Launch ceremony of ¡°Promotion Month of Expo Tour in 100 Cities around the World¡± kicked off in February 1, 2010 in Tokyo. Vice Chairman of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) Du Jiang, President of the House of Councilors in Japan Satsuki Eda, Charge d'affaires ad interim Kong Xuanyou of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, member of Japan Lower House and president of Japan Travel Industry Association Toshihiro Nikai, chief delegate of the Japan Affairs Office of Shanghai World Expo Coordination Bureau Xu Dimin, Director of Tourism Department of Japanese Ministry of Land, Mizohi Tahiro, President of Japan Travel Industry Association Kanai Geng, attended the launch ceremony and jointly cut the ribbon, announcing the beginning of this activity.

On behalf of China National Tourism Administration(CNTA), Du Jiang first delivered a speech. Du said in his speech that to celebrate the World Expo Tourism Year 2010, China National Tourism Administration(CNTA) has put forward the activity of Expo Tour Promotion Month in 100 Cities around the World and will host nearly 200 promotional activities in various forms and contents themed by ¡°Expo Tour¡± in 100 cities of more than 20 countries and regions in the coming month to set off an upsurge of ¡°Visit Expo, Travel China¡±.
