On January 1, the "China Cultural Tour 2011" launching ceremony, jointly organized by China National Tourism Administration (CNTA), the State Council Information Office as well as the people's governments of Guizhou, Jiangsu, Fujian, Shandong and Henan, was held synchronously in the five provinces. Qingyanbao, Huaxi District of Guiyang City, served as the main venue of the launching ceremony in Guizhou Province.

   Officials present at the ceremony were Li Zhanshu, Secretary of Guizhou Provincial Committee of CPC and Director of the Standing Committee of Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, Shao Qiwei, CNTA Chairman, Zhao Kezhi, Deputy Secretary-General of Guizhou Provincial Committee of CPC & Governor of Guizhou Province, Wang Zhongwei, Vice-Director of the State Council Information Office, Wang Fuyu, Deputy Secretary-General of Guizhou Provincial Committee of CPC, Li Jun, member of the Standing Committee of Guizhou Provincial Committee of CPC & Secretary of Guiyang Municipal Committee of CPC, Huang Kangsheng, member of the Standing Committee of Guizhou Provincial Committee of CPC & Vice Governor of Guizhou Province, Chen Yiqin, member of the Standing Committee of Guizhou Provincial Committee of CPC & Chief of the Publicity Department, CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee and Wu Wenxue, Party Member of China National Tourism Administration & Vice President of China Tourism Association. Shao Qiwei, Wang Zhongwei and Zhao Kezhi delivered speeches respectively, and Li Jun delivered the welcoming speech. Wang Fuyu presided over the launching ceremony.
